When the Pigs Come Home

I finally found something sort of US-related to use this challenge wordart for ... lol. Yay!!!

Photos I took here in town at last summer's annual Ribfest. It'll be back again in two weeks ... we go every year, and it's the only time of the year we actually eat ribs, but man, are they good! And we always do have a blast at this event, lol. (Except the weather is always blasting hot as well.)

90% of this is from 'All America' (Aprilisa Designs).
I made the US and Canadian flag, and the Ribfest Pig (recolored the event's logo).
The 'When the Pigs Come Home' WA is from When Pigs Fly (Southern Creek Designs).
The pig on top of the What a Blast WA is from 'County Fair' (Sherwood Studio).
The staples are from 'Whatta Boy' (Pixelily Designs).
The 'What a Blast' WA is from Kathy Winters Designs.

This is awesome. You did a great job on combining the kits and using the word art for the challenge. Those ribs look yummy and you found the perfect elements and word art to use.

Wow, Arlene!! You are so awesome with making things and recoloring things, WTG!! LOL, we love ribs way too much, we eat it maybe once a month! You are so cute with having a blast eating ribs...and you are right! These festivals are always so fun, but I always eat wayyy too much! You have lots of great techniques here...and LOVE that banner you used!

Arlene, you may have thought for 2 weeks about the challenge, but you sure came up with the winner! Great mix of kits and elements, as well as great mix of countries and their symbols. You never disappoint with the great photos, either! Love this page! Smile
