Beanie's Pizza, the best in Town! On Sunday Mommy got a call from Amin, the chef at Beanie’s Pizza. he wanted to discuss the new menus that Mommy is to make. And as part of the deal, he made us a special meal of pizza, pasta and ribs. We chatted a fair bit and discovered that he is our neighbour at the other end of the close! Who knew!!
A Family that Kicks Together Sticks Together Jeremiah had taekwondo classes on Tuesday and Thursday and Sebastian on Tueady and Saturday while Mommy went on Wednesday and Saturday. I think we live there sometimes!
Just Regular Maintenance
Wednesday meant time to get an oil change on the car. There didn’t seem to be much point in booking a shuttle to take us home so we walked across the street to Cora’s and had brunch with Dad and Grandpa. Just as we were finishing our meals, the service centre called and said they found an issue upon final inspection and that they would repair the problem under warranty. The only problem was that it would take up to 3 hours. Good thing Grandpa had his SUV and was going to Home Depot anyway as it allowed us to buy the supplies to refinish the ceiling of our entryway.
On Thursday Mommy prepped the ceiling boards with Jeremiah’s help.
Car Slides and Giant Broccolis
After taekwondo on Thursday, Sebastian, Jeremiah and Mommy went for a country drive to find a ‘huge’ craft sale. The sale wasn’t as good as hoped and so we were back on the road within 15 minutes and with supper in the crock pot, we decided to turn left instead of right. While Mommy always knew approximately where we were, Sebastian got quite worried that we were lost. Jeremiah on the other hand was excited to drive up a big hill so we could go down the car slide on the other side. And further down the road, a line of trees looked like giant broccolis!
Not So Regular Maintenance
Friday brought Grandpa over to the house to help Mommy refinish the ceiling in the entry way and hall to get rid of the ugly hole that had been there for years. They first fit beadboard over the whole space, then Grandpa measured and cut trim to go around. Mommy wasn’t able to help much due to a bank appointment, but made it up by taking Grandpa for supper afterwards. Then Mommy spent the evening filling nail holes. What a tremendous change it feels like now!
