The challenge was to take one day this month and chronicle it ... capture everything in the day or just focus on the most important aspect of your day.

This layout sums up my typical day caring for our blind dog, Dillon. I am his devoted seeing-eye person. (Of course usually my DH is at work, not following us around taking pictures, lol.)

Journaling says:
Dillon is 13 ½ years old. He went blind two years ago.
Blind dogs tend to have separation anxiety and become
nervous when the owner leaves. I ended up quitting my
job to stay home and care for him. Every morning I
carry him down the stairs and then help him out to the
back yard. Once he is outside he manages to get around
fine on his own, as there are no walls to bump into.
My day is spent letting him in and out of the house
and helping him as required. He doesn't become stressed.
He knows he is safe with me around.
