Journaling: I used to stand on a chair in my Mom-Mom's kitchen and watch her bake Christmas cookies. She was a great baker and I loved watching her use her cookie press. I was amazed at how she easily loaded the press with dough and squeezed the trigger making perfect little cookies. Years later, she taught me how to use the press and gave me her secret Spritz cookie recipe. When we lost my grandmother eight years later, I was able to keep the press and make perfect little cookies with my kids. I hope she is looking down on us every Christmas when we use her magical cookie press!
