Journaling: The location of these photos is the house my grandfather built on Acacia Street in Pasadena, CA. My mother was born and raised there, and returned with her own seven children after a failed marriage. That's where I come in. I'm number eight. When Mama brought me home from the hospital, it was to her childhood home. I have no memories of living on Acacia Street, but I have had the opportunity to go, with Mama, to visit the beloved family home.
