Lol, yep that's one of the first things I learned as a kid too (as motor boats are driving past us making all kinds of noise and waves, lol). Super cute photos, and I love the blending in the BG. Fabulous cluster and shadow work too, I just love those ellies, and is on my list of kits to pick up. Nicely done, love it!
