Randy Pausch was a college professor and inspirational teacher. He interned with Disney as an Imagineer and often used Disney as an example in his speeches and with his classes. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at a young age. Before he passed away, he created a book for his children. A book for living, he wanted them to have something to know him better: The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams. Disney memorialized this quote from him with a sign next to the Alice in Wonderland topiaries at the Magic Kingdom. A tribute to his founding of the Alice Project which helps teen girls learn how to program animation for stories and plays

Be good at something; it makes you valuable....have something to bring to the table because that will make you more welcome. - Randy Pausch.
