When I saw the inspiration picture of the eggs, I knew what my layout would be about!
JOURNALING: There is a nesting pair of Peregrine falcons at our State Office Tower. A sure sign of spring is the "egg watch," waiting for signs that Durand and her partner, Spark, may become parents as they did last year, producing their first little girl, Zoom. Our Division of Wildlife has "falcon cams" which allow us to monitor the birds. Right on schedule during the first week of spring, Durand laid 4 eggs. With incubation taking just over a month, by the en of April we will be on "hatch watch" hoping for new life, truly a sign of spring!
