Journaling - You told grandpa you wanted him to get you a rainbow dress. We searched all over and could not find one. I haven't made a dress since your mommie was a little girl and was never as tallented as others in this area. I found a pattern that had ruffles and decided to try and make a rainbow dress for you. It was not as easy as I hoped it would be, but I got it done. I was surprised at myself and you were thrilled with it!

Ahh.. my grandma used to make some of my summer clothes but she also made them for my cabage patch kid doll. This is so sweet!! Love the stitching on the frame!

Oh my, what a sweet story. I think your rainbow dress is gorgeous. It is full of love! Love the dark background with the stitching around the blocks. Awesome journaling, too.
