I'm always afraid that I'm going to miss a moment in my family's life. I don't always remember the moments, but if I look at the pictures, I can remember the moment in time that the picture was taken. I feel almost like I'm walking around missing an article of clothing if I don't have access to a camera, no atter where I am.
My biggest fear, though, is that I'm going to miss a big milestone because I was too focused on getting a picture of what's going on, rather than being there in that point in time.
It's a hard balance to maintain, and there will be times when I'm on the wrong side of it. If I never try, though, I'll not be able to say that I have learned from what I have done.
