Living in Florida isn’t always Paradise. I have been known to tangle with snakes, possums, raccoons, spiders and various other creatures.. but, the one thing that freezes me in my tracks with fear is a giant roach(or as we call them.. palmetto bugs). I hate it when I am surprised by one that has snuck into the house after heavy rains or an  unseasonably cold winter. My husband has come to understand my shriek followed by an expletive #*!@%$$^&1*^. He has also resigned himself to being woken up in the middle of the night to kill one because i will not rest easy if if gets away from me!(after all, it may surprise me again!).I usually do not kill anything...except for...(you know, those, nasty, creepy scary things)..but, if i MUST kill one, it will not be an easy kill. I can not step on them.. So, they will be drowned with a whole can of bug spray(or hair spray if it’s close by)..Sometimes I spray blindly because  I close my eyes...I can not pick one up after it is dead either..So if hubs sees a paper towel on the floor in the morning, he knows there is a critter that needs to be disposed of under it! Oh, did I mention that they fly too? I don’t ever question God’s Infinite Wisdom...except for(well, you know...)So, I guess I should be grateful I didn’t live in the Dinosaur era, when they were 3 feet long! My fear of them is a full blown phobia. inherited from my mother..(Thanks mom). I don’t foresee myself facing my fears, going on Fear Factor, or having them walk on me to to realize they can’t hurt me. I am so grossed out by them that I cannot bear to get a real foto of one for this lo. So, I will show you a foto of me with a "not so real one".Go ahead say it.:.......”What A Big Baby”...sigh
