They say a girl chooses her mate based on the traits she admires most in her father. I'm not sure how true it is for everyone else, but I know that the man I have for my father was the type of man I wanted as the father of my children.
My father taught me that COURAGE isn't just about not being afraid, but it was about standing up for what you believe in.
He taught me that LOYALTY isn't just blindly following along, but about being honest to those you care about.
He taught me that WISDOM is not about how smart you are, but how you use the knowledge that you have.
He taught me that the price of sacrifice pays you tenfold or more in so many other ways.
He taught me to be the best I can be.
My father is my HERO.
