You have always loved s’mores. But we have only ever had them at the campground or outside. So you can imagine your surprise when I told you the other night after dinner that as a special treat we were going to have s’mores. “But mommy, no fire”, you said over and over again. You could not wrap your head around the fact that we were going to make s’mores inside, without a fire! I had you get out all the supplies and create a s’more for you and your siblings in bowls. You went to eat it cold, and I stopped you. I took you over to the microwave where I placed your bowl. Your eyes were in shock as you watched the marshmallow expand in the microwave as it warmed. Thirty seconds later a tasty s’more came out! “This bestest s’more ever ever mommy”, you said so excited. “Marshmallow no burnt!”. Kman you loved it so much that you ate three total indoor s’mores that night! And you would have ate more, but mommy stopped you so you wouldn’t get a belly ache! I am sure we are going to have to do it again soon!
