I love your layout! It is really, really nice ... so well put together. I especially like how you draped the rope ladder over one of the photos. I also like the wooden background, the ship elements here and there, the parrot perched on the top photo drawing the eye to the date, the banners, Jack's amazed expression, and of course the young lad having a skirmish with a pirate. What a great souvenir for what was probably a big highlight in the lives of the young boys depicted. Super-duper!
