I don’t want to look older, but I don’t think I look any younger than I’m supposed to. Smile

Journaling: I am 48 years old. Really, I am. No one ever believes me when I mention my age or my ID is cheeked. I was asked for ID to get into the casino on Labor Day when I was46 years old! After a day outside I was windblown, no makeup and in a wheelchair pushed by the husband they didn’t car to make sure he was over 21. Yeesh! When I look at myself I think I look my age. I’ve changed and grown as much as I always have., Well, okay, the change between 8 and 18 was pretty dramatic, but my aging slowed down to generally the same pace it’s always been after that.

This year, since no one believes me anyway, I’m going to lie about my age. I’ll be 49 in July and people think it’s a lie if it ends in 9 anyway, so I’m going to say I’m 53 for the sake of my integrity. When someone says, “no way are you 53!” I’ll say, “That’s right. I’m lying.” They’ll be vindicated catching me in a lie. I’ll be telling the truth. My honesty won’t be in question. It’s all good!
