Journaling: If someone were to ask me what my greatest treasures are in this life, it wouldn’t take too much thinking to tell them exactly what my treasures would be.  Now, I know some of these things I cannot take with me to my heavenly home when I pass on, but they have very special meaning and are the most treasured things I hold dear. So, with that I would reply, First and foremost with that of my Bible and prayer book where I write my thoughts and what I bring away from studying to become closer to my Lord and Savior for without him I would be lost and living a life of lone existence. Second would be a picture of my parents and me which celebrates my little but oh so close family! Without my parents I know not what I would do or where I would be.  They have taught me most everything I have learned in this life – morals, values, kindness, trust to name a few of the biggest things. A few other things would include -- a picture of my mom seeing St. Thomas for the first time in her life, which she has always dreamed of doing and which I made possible this past May 2015 on our Eastern Caribbean Cruise.  Just looking at the picture brings back so many fond memories and it truly takes my breath away knowing I made it possible for her and just her in awe reaction was something that makes  my heart sing.  I would also include my pear shaped orchid Amethyst birthstone ring which I purchased while in St. Thomas! Who would have thought I would have to travel all the way there to find the perfect amethyst ring after searching forever and lastly I would include a picture of my precious fur babies – 3 miniature dachshunds – Izzie, Jasper & Belle.  These are my most treasured things in this one and only blessed life and I am so thankful for what my Lord has provided me with!  I would hope to someday add a few other treasures when they become dear to me, such as a husband, children, etc. but for now these will remain in my treasured booty!
