Whirlpool Rapids, Niagara River, Canada, 2016
Journaling reads: The Aero Car travels back and forth over the Whirlpool Rapids of the Niagara River. This antique cable car ride has been used since 1916 so that people could witness the spectacular site as the flow of the river changes its direction. The river creates the whirlpool as it turns at the end of the gorge and flows counterclockwise before it leaves through the narrowest part of the waterway.
