We took Nimmie and Ravi to show them our favourite region of Switzerland, the Bernese Alps. it was predicted to rain but we took a chance. It turned out to be a lucky chance because we spent a wonderful day outdoors. We first took them on an easy walk in Grindelwald from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg. An almost level path, it takes about an hour and a half with magnificent scenery throughout. The views of the three grand mountains of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau makes this enjoyable every time i have been here. After that we went to Lauterbrunnen where we left them to see the Trümmelbach falls while we walked along the stream enjoying the beautiful mountain air. It started to drizzle a bit just as we were leaving. We went over Jaunpass and stopped to take some pictures but the light was already fading. By the time we reached Gruyere it was raining heavily. We enjoyed our fondu dinner at Le Chalet, our favourite restaurant, before heading home.
