Journaling: It hasn't been a fabulous year for me getting out of the house much. Medical problems and the general ”two steps forward, one step back," and sometimes even "one step forward, two steps back," have left me in a closed-in place. But even though there weren't farmers markets, apple picking or just a walk in the fall sunshine, I did get to roll through some unraked leaves and watch some fly as the rest crunched under my wheels and gaze on a beautiful sunny day when I took an extended wait for the bus to appreciate the simple beauty that is home.
