Some days I get up and go to work and come home dog-dead tired and feel as though I haven’t really accomplished much at all. Some days I bum around and do nothing at all (and really don’t care) and have nothing to show for it. Not today though! Today I set my mind to start AND finish an online literacy course required to renew my teaching certification. In August my license will expire and all those years of hard work and effort will go down the drain. NO THANK YOU! So today I got up, got the kids off to school, and hunkered down at 8:30 a.m. for what I thought would take all day long. By 11:01 a.m. I had finished the entire course and passed all six tests with 100%. HOORAY! I may still be in my jammies, hair in a pony tail and teeth un-brushed (oops) but I am DONE with the course and can now submit my $75 and a few pieces of paper saying I am good to go for another 5 years! Today I feel ACCOMPLISHED!
