Journaling:
Taking this trip down memory lane has been so much fun.  Of all my fun memories as a teenager, decorating my room with posters of my favorite movie stars was a favorite. I can’t believe my parents were ok with all the pin holes and tape that covered nearly every square inch of one wall.  I didn’t get a large allowance but I was sure to buy a few magazines to dissect and hang up.  Oh those crazy teen-boy crushes! Corey Haim and Corey Feldman.  Corey Haim sadly died in 2010.  Who didn’t love The Karate Kid?  Ralph Macchio was always a main feature on my “teen crush” wall as were the very handsome Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp.  Of all my teen crushes, Kirk  Cameron from Growing Pains might have been my all time favorite.  Of all the movie/TV stars I loved in the 80’s, Kirk Cameron is the only one I really still love and respect.  Somehow he managed to become a really great adult with solid values despite his fame and stardom.
