Journalling reads: This excited description from Sam’s Mum accompanied these photos: It was a crazy big surf down at Gippslands Ninety Mile Beach. He was in the leading pack as they turned past the last buoy and he got on a huge wave that the others just missed. Watching him glide down the wave and control his board all the way in was an absolute joy. He won by more than 50 metres. A magic moment. All of Point Leo cheering and his smile! I even got an excited hug!!

I really love that you used his mom's words for your journaling. and that full width shot of them all rushing into the water is just so great. I like the way you added the scribbled circle and arrow to pick Sam out of the line up. The row of waves element is a perfect border. I like the way you used the netting bit, too. another great one, Jill!
