JOURNALING: I went to see Hamlet at the Hippodrome on Saturday. Unfortunately Jim was unable to go with me. The play uses the same dialogue as originally penned by the Bard, but the setting is modern day, complete with cell phones and I-pads. I think this modernization just emphasizes the timelessness of the themes explored in the play - government corruption, power, murder, betrayal, and revenge.
