What a busy week it has been! The last week before I leave for Australia is always a difficult one. It is hard to pack for two months, hard to think of winter clothes when it is so warm outside. I had my drama with the granite and tiles; why did we ever get into this? I really am regretting it. I did some blogging on Sunday. I stocked the shelves for Bapi and made some frozen meals for him too. I caught up with the laundry and ironing. I paid all the bills. I struggled with computer issues and updated the backup disks. I managed a good walk on most days. The weather was good and I am really enjoying my Lindsey Davis audio books. The best walk this week was at St Sulpice. And finally on Saturday, Bapi dropped me at the station so I could take 4:20 train to Zurich airport. I was too early so I browsed through the shops then read quietly. The flight left at 10:15. I was lucky to get a row of empty seats so I slept soundly for the first flight of 6 hrs. At Dubai there was a 3 hr wait. I freshened up and had tea and a zather sandwich. I was again lucky in the flight to Melbourne with empty seats to stretch out. I slept for 5 or 6 hrs during the next 13 hrs, arriving finally on Monday morning at 6 am. This drains me so!
