Journaling: It's hard to put into words my thoughts on this beautiful apartment - never have we stayed anywhere better appointed, everything we could possibly need was there, plus! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and so conveniently situated too, bus stop outside, convenience stores very nearby.
And then our hosts, Franco and Patrizia! Whilst there Ray’s wallet was pickpocketed on the bus from Venice. As soon as they heard the news Franco and Patrizia were over, making countless calls on our behalf, Franco running out to buy chocolate croissants to cheer us up ("Chocolate fix everything!") offering to lend us money (they offered up to € 3,000 to continue our holiday), personally driving us to join our ship for our cruise. How could we ever thank them enough?
