Recipe: Mom's Pumpkin Bread


1 c Butter
2 c Sugar
4 eggs
3 1/2 c Flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 1/2 c pumpkin
1 1/2 c chocolate chips


Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix dry ingredients separately. Add dry mixture slowly. Fold in pumpkin. Mix well. Add chocolate chips.


Bake in preheated oven at 350* for 65 - 75 minutes. Bread is ready when toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
