I LOVE LOVE LOVE Apple pie! YUM!
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. Salt
2/3 c. shortening
8-10 Tbs cold waterStir together flour & salt. Cut in shortening.
Sprinkle 1 Tbs water over flour, toss
continue until moist. Roll out dough, 1/2 at a time. Transfer bottom into pie tin.
1/2 c. Sugar
1 Tbs. All Purpose Flour
6 c. Apples (peeled, cored & thinly sliced)
Mix ingredients for filling. Transfer to 9” pie plate. cover with top crust & cut slits. Seal & flute edge - cover edges with foil. Bake in
375* oven for 25 min. Remove foil. Bake for 20-25 min.
