Journaling: It didn’t seem to danper their enthusiasm one bit that the plump caterpillar the boys caught and watched for weeks in that little jar ended up being a “brown butterfly”. The cacoon he created around himself was fascinating and the emerging of our little winged creature was still pretty cool. So, it wasn’t exactly a Monarch... not every butterfly can be. And even if you choose to call it a moth, we know better.
