You always tell me that no one ever taught you how to be a good mom. But you say it as though you feel that you weren't. I certainly hope that is not the case. I know you weren't perfect and that you made mistakes, but you loved me like no one else ever could and you were fiercely protective of me. I never once doubted your love for me and always knew that you wanted the best for me! It is because of you that I have my values and beliefs, it is because of you that I am able to be the mommy that I am to Jesse! It's because of you that I am the person that I am today and I thank you for that! While you may not have been taught how to be a mommy, I know I sure was and I thank you mom!
