Journaling reads:
We have this tradition in our family that when you turn 4 years old you receive your first bike. It started with your older sister Bianca and continued on with your brother Kai and now lastly you my darling Asia Rae.
It is almost like a rite of passage, leaving your early toddler years into the school years. It is hard to believe my last baby has entered into those years already. Where has time gone?
You were so thrilled to receive your first bike. You sensed and knew it was coming. The excitement had been built up for days and you could hardly contain yourself when I pulled the truck in the driveway with the bike in the bed. You could barely wait to get on it. You are the smallest of my three kids, you have always been the tiniest thing and on your new bike you looked even smaller. Your feet could barely reach the pedals and papa had to lower the seat for you and even then your tiny legs are barely reaching the pedals of your new bike.
My beautiful Doodle, you are the least coordinated little girl I have ever met. Watching you try to pedal your bike makes me burst into laughter. You just can not make it go on your own. I know in time you will get the hang of it, after all you are a little parrot and catch onto things quite quickly from watching your older siblings, but until then we will all enjoy pushing you around the driveway on your bike as you squeal with glee.
