Journaling: July 19th, 2012 I donated over 13 and a half inches of my hair
to locks of love for wigs for children and women with cancer.
It was the second time I have donated hair to the cause, but this time was the shortest I have gone in years. It is going to take some time to get use to my new do, but I really love having shorter hair. Being a cancer survivor (I had skin cancer), the cause is very close to my heart and I plan to donate again someday in the future.

Love your title work. Great journaling story. This is something that I have always wanted to do. I almost had enough hair to donate but then I couldn't stand the hot summer heat anymore.

What a wonderful gift to give! That's a lot of hair to cut off. I like your cluster of photos along the side with the paint splatters behind. Great journaling and wonderful memory to scrap.

Love you title work! I have often though about cutting off my hair to donate...but I've pretty much always had long hair...and I'm 37 now! LOL! My mom is a survivor (breast cancer) and she donates her hair to a special company that uses gray....way to show your support!
