I really enjoyed reading your journaling here. It's very detailed and thorough, and also very heartfelt. I can tell that you care deeply about this child and that you have done your very best for her in the way of helping her to learn to communicate. And it sounds like you are really working wonders -- it just a few short months she has already improved tremendously! Kudos to you. This will be a very valuable layout to look back on years later, because you've recorded the actual list of words and signs that she was able to use at this point in time. It will be so cool for her to see that. Beautifully done!
This is why I scrap! I love, love, love this page. You created a snapshot in time that you and your child will be able to go back to and see how much progress has been made. Your dedication is so evident, too ... I pray she will grow up and be the kind of person that recognizes, honors and appreciates that dedication. The page design is so pretty ... the focus being on the journal is fantastic. The little touches of the scalloped edge, the circles with photos and clustering, and your title all work together to create a fabulous page. I nominated it for Baker's Best, Post 21.
