Journaling: I’ve lived in Georgia my entire life and didn’t know this fact. And I love peaches! I have memories of stopping on the side of the road to pick up a basket of the freshest, juiciest peaches you could ever taste as a kid. And although we loved to eat them alone, they were even better in ice cream or cobbler.
And let’s not forget that the women are in fact real life Georgia Peaches around these parts. A little sweet, a little tart and full of flavor.
It’s really no wonder the succulent fruit has it’s own month. I totally deserves it.
OK, I’m off to the Farmer’s Market now. I just have to have a plump Georgia peach before the day is over.
