... I am so sorry for your loss ... I know it was February, but I also know how the loss of someone special in your life impacts you, and it does so for a long time. Your journal had me crying at the point he said he loved you. I had a feeling then that I knew how the story was going to end. You wrote it beautifully ... and I'm glad it's the focus of the page - it is the heart and soul! Including a photo of you and him makes it a treasure. This should be printed and passed from generation to generation. A very sweet tribute.

This brought back memories of visiting my Grandpa in the hospital in '88. It is very difficult and I hope you are finding peace in the fact that he doesn't hurt now. It never goes away but it does get easier as time goes on. I'll pray for peace for you and your family.
