I did this page as a font course lesson at Hummie's World a couple days ago, so it cannot qualify for the challenge. I did write the poem, and Haley remembers the hunt, but not the letter...lol.
My Dearest Haley,

By your basket, what did I see, sitting right in front of me?

A giant dog! Shaggy and black, I was in fear of an attack!

From your basket, I tried to coax, but Shaggy knew t'was all a hoax.

My time ran short, I start to worry, how do I finish in a hurry?

T'was then I came up with a plan, around the house I hopped and ran.

Hiding treats for you to find, a Treasure Hunt! ( Hope you don't mind! )

Just follow all these simple clues, and all good things will come to you!

1. Waiting around to cover feet, tucked inside you'll find a treat.

2. Where birds could dwell I found a space, a secret door, a hiding place.

3. The song is over, alone they lean, when CD music hit the scene.

4. With paint and brush, a secret lies, inside this wood is your surprise.

5. Candles, doorknobs, an electric fuse, this place collects what we don't use.

6. I found a thing old Shaggy hates, it's noise upon her nerves does grate!

7. Don't slow up now, you're almost done, this place lets in the late-day sun.

8. Up the creaks and down the hall, this hiding place has legs that's tall.

9. This treasure is already on display, you can see it from where you lay.

10. Your Mom's the key to this gift, Honey! It's in a place you would find money.

11. This last one will be hard for you, for where you found one treasure, I hid two!

I hope you had a lovely time, the moment has come to end this rhyme.

Love,

the Easter Bunny
