I love spending time with my family! Last evening I mentioned making snowflakes to help the students of Sandy Hook have a winter wonderland at their new school ... and the next thing I know my sister, my niece and I were all happily snipping paper and creating some awesome snowflakes. We made a few of them with little heart cutouts in them to show our love. Thanks to GingerScraps for posting about this wonderful idea on their Facebook page.

Papers from: 'Big Chill' (Tracy Monette), 'It's Christmas Time' (Jen C Designs), 'The Frosty Way' (Mandy King). Elements from: 'Snowy Days' (Karen Diamond Designs), 'Winter Days' (Marie H Designs), 'Winterland' (Marie H Designs), 'Winter Frost' (A Saxon Creation), and 'Coral Crush' (Fayette).

Here's the link if you'd like to make snowflakes for Sandy Hook too.

What a great project to get involved with. I like the use of the snowflake elements and the center pic of the snowflakes you completed.

Thank YOU Ambelleina for bringing this to our attention. I hope the snowflakes help to bring some much needed smiles to those students. I'm in Canada, but we grieved over that horrible tragedy here too.

SO cool!!! I think it's amazing that you decided to do this and your snow flakes are very pretty. Such a touching memory to scrap about.

Terrific series of photos and a terrific idea! The page turned out really nice. Making the photos the main part of the page was a great choice.
