My job is to caretake for an elderly lady in our church, and before he passed, her husband as well. He loved the church, and especially loved being able to provide for the children's ministry.

Journaling reads:

Papa S was very well known in this town. He was a business owner, and a hard worker who earned every penny he had. But what he was most known for was his faith. He loved sharing God with everyone, and he especially loved knowing that the kids were learning about him. Papa was never called by his name....everyone called him Papa, and everyone who knew him knew he treated you like he was your grandfather. Papa S loved his church, and was always making donations of money and time. But the one I remember him for the most was how he loved making sure the kids classes were stocked in Goldfish crackers. He was so known for this, that when they made the list of supplies for the first VBS after he passed, the list included six “Papa S sized” boxes of Goldfish for the littles ones to have as snack throughout the week. Now that he is gone, his wife has carried on his tradition, and whenever I feed the kids in my class Goldfish, I always think of Papa.
