Journaling: I’ve always been pretty good at making friends, which I feel like is a gift from God since I was never very close to my family (except for my favorite sister, Tammy). People who are authentic and funny are the ones who get my attention, but they have to be accepting of my quirks, too. Sometimes, they’re pretty quirky themselves, but mostly I find people who simply love me for me. When I started digi-scrapping and became involved in the forums, I met some amazing people. Even though we’ve never met face-to-face, and maybe never will, I feel that I’ve made some genuine friends online. There are certainly others, but Glenda, Cindy, Patti, & Henriett are the ones I talk to most often. They are all kind and sincere, and a couple of them are hysterically funny, making me laugh out loud at their emails or comments on my LOs. Also, they would like one another if we all got together, which makes me feel even more blessed to have met these women, and to know I’ve made a good choice in becoming friends with them.
