Journaling: In 1999 we bought our house in Bastrop, TX. In 2011, Chuck’s company was bought and we found out we would be moving to Franklin, TN. In July we started getting the house ready to sell. Paint, new carpets and purgung through years of life. On September 5th we met with a realtor and decided to place it on the maket September 12th. On September 4th a large fire started in Bastrop, littel did we know that this fire would end up burning over 1300 homes and 25% of Bastrop County. On September 10th (Chuck’s birthday) two different families called to see if they could look at the house as they had lost their homes in the fire. We received a full price cash offer two days before it went on the market. What a blessing it was for us!

This is awesome Missi (and a story I remember well). I really liked how you not only included the paint samples, but the picture of the fire as it was such a big part of the selling of the house.
