Cover Page

I love and collect unusual templates. I bought this one (by Heartstrings Scrap Art) a few years ago thinking it would make a great cover page but... we lived in Asia at the time and didn't go anywhere by car. Now we're back in Europe and we drive everywhere. This is the right hand side of the cover layout. I used two kits: Flower Fantsia by Gingerscrap Ladies and Back to Nature by CathyK. This is my entry for July Recipe challenge: 1 title, 2 fasteners, 3 photos, 4 foliage, 5 papers, 6 flowers.

And it is a darn cute template!! Now that the Beetle is being discontinued, the template will be priceless! The floral cluster creates a nice cushion under the car and I really like the placement of the title in the space created with the banner! Sweet page!!

And a VW Bug is so retro Germany! Do they still appear on the road there, I know they've rereleased it over here. Nestling it amidst pine branches and flowers is charming. The papers you used are adorable and I love the photos connected to the banner.

Oh my goodness, that paper pieced Bug is just amazing. I wish that I had that template and I do agree that it does make for a great cover page.
