I have so many beautiful memories of you with books, of us reading together…. One day, for example, we – sniff – had just finished the Little House on the Prairie series and had fun reminiscing about our favorite characters and scenes in all the books. As we talked, I suddenly asked, "Oh, if Laura were your friend, what do you think you would've liked most about her?" Jovelle just stared at me incredulously and replied, "But she IS my friend!!"
