Journaling:
One of my fond memories growing up, and even into my adulthood, was going to the library. On Sundays, after church, we would go to the Piccadilly Cafeteria downtown with my Grandmother, Mom, my 2 Aunts, and my 3 cousins. Since my cousin Rick and I were the oldest, a whole 7 and 8 years old, we were allowed to around the corner to the (now old and no longer there) Fort Worth Public Library. We would spend an hour reading and looking at books and roaming the rooms of musty smelling old books. It would soon be time to go back to the cafeteria and head home to get ready to go back to church. Those were some of the best times. As I got older, I would take the bus to the library to check out books. Later I would find myself and my best friend Jackie at different libraries doing genealogy research for hours on end. Nowadays all our research is done on the internet, which is not near as much fun.
