JOURNALING: This is the first year the hummingbirds have had “interlopers” at their feeder. I’ve learned this bird is a “House Finch”, but I’ve also seen an American Goldfinch once or twice. The birds seem more interested in the water in the “ant moats” than in trying to get to the nectar. 7 /11/23
