I’ve been blessed with the chance to travel and live in many places. I’ve seen ancient monuments, walked on
roads built by ancient Rome, admired castles and great houses built centuries ago. I’ve seen untold wonders and majestic art in museums. I’ve seen faces carved into mountainsides,attended Carnevale in Venice and lost my breath from the views from the mountains & the canyons. As I said - I’ve been so blessed with the opportunities to experience all these - and so much more. But the best vacation ever was this quick 5-day trip to a family reunion to a small town in Arkansas with my three grown children (all over 50) while we enjoyed that and a road trip through the Ozarks - and the drive there and back. They bickered like they did when they were little and I just laughed. We all laughed a lot while we were talking and enjoying being together. I love my daughter-in-law, my son-in-law and my grandchildren, but on this trip, it was just the four of us - and it was simply perfect - and not likely to ever happen again
