Journalling reads: Logan wanted to take one of the Elves into school for show and tell. The problem is that touching the Elves makes them lose their magic, or at least it does unless you have some temporary magic of your own. Mummy has a special tiny bottle of pink sparkly magic, that lets you touch and play with the Elves for 24 hours. But, while you have magic of your own the Elf magic stops working for a while, after all if the Elves disappeared of to the North Pole while they were out with you, it would make you sad thinking you had lost them. The kids got their magic at night so that the Elves could sleep in their bed with them.
