Wow, this is so intriguing. I wonder how you could go about finding out the true story of this photo. It seems like there have to be records somewhere. In any case, even if you never find out the full story, I love what you did with it here by arranging it on these lovely blue and grey vintage papers. They give it a real air of mystery. I love the word art in the background, too. Beautiful work!
Ugh, isn't that frustrating! I have a couple like this too, but my parent are both still living so they were able to tell me. I would be so bummed if I couldn't put a date and a name to this beautiful heritage photo, I hope you can someday figure it out. Beautiful colors and I love the brushwork in the BG. Very pretty, and an important photo to get scrapped
