Homeschooling Bruce has been a treat! I was a little anxious before we started, after all, he is not always the most compliant of boys. I wasn’t sure if we could get him to complete his classes every day. Nessa signed up for an online homeschool program and we decided to give it a try through the summer. He loves it! We sit with him while he works and discuss the lessons. We supplement the classes with games, art and music. He knows that when Daddy starts work, Bruce starts school. He can’t wait every day. He surprised me one day by reading an entire page out of “One Fish Two Fish.” Since then he has read “Ten Apples Up On Top” from beginning to end. He drinks up knowledge like a little sponge. I hope he keeps it up and we can do this forever!

the blocked design with tiny black stroked photos works most effectively here, love love the title presentation, of course the curling string is giving me joy and I love the two banners with pretty cluster in the centre and cute apple buttons on the ends, the push pins are a delightful detail. You do such clever touches with word strips. Always awesome!!
