Journaling: I find magic in the everyday little moments of life. Family is everything to me, and I cherish every minute I have with each of you. Sometimes it’s the funny conversations I capture; other times it’s the special things we do together. Our trip to South Africa was one magical moment after another. The three days we spent at the Kapama Game Reserve were the best part of our trip for me. I loved going out on the morning and evening game drives. Seeing the animals up close in their natural habitat was magical - every single time. Each of the seven of us seemed to have our favorite animal. Giraffes are Anna’s, so we looked for them, and photographed them often. She was so excited each time we located one more giraffe, and then one more, and then one more. We discovered big giraffes, baby giraffes, and sometimes two or three giraffes together. It was always exciting for Anna. We were amazed by how close we could get to these incredibly graceful animals. I can see why Anna loves these tall, gentle creatures. I am so happy we were able to share her magical experience.
