True Colors

My theme song: "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper (lyrics in background and title)
Journal reads: Growing up I had amazing parents that always encouraged me. I was the talented, creative type. I had friends, but not a lot of them. I was never really self-confident. My Mom taught me two things and words that I still live by…If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all…and always stay true to yourself. This song says it all…and I know they both always saw my true colors and my every potential. I just hope I've made them proud.

Oh my word, Cindy, this page is absolutely breathtaking!! I am just a slight bit jealous of how gorgeously creative this is. Everything is perfect, from the blended lyrics to the amazing clustering of flowers to the paint spatters bordering the page. Perfect! The multiple "rainbows" in your layout are awesome and I love your journaling! I grew up with the "if you can't say anything nice" thing, too. Still live by it, which sometimes gets me into trouble because I refuse to lie to someone to make them feel good and it's sometimes hard to find something "nice" to say. lol
