Every year WeFest has a campsite decorating contest based on a theme. In 2007, the theme was Wild Wild West and Mom jumped on the band wagon. She started thinking of what we could do, with her first thought being Yosemite Sam from the Looney Tunes. Out came the plywood, paint and creativity and Yosemite Sam was born. Next came Bugs Bunny and I even drew and cut out Sylvester. We had a little village complete with a saloon, jail, outhouse and bank. Our characters also included Porky Pig, Tweety bird and Elmer Fudd. Even though we didn't, our campsite was a huge hit and everyone couldn’t believe he made it all from scratch.
